Anitra has undergone a major refit during present ownership over the past 4 years. New Yanmar engine type 3 JH2-TE (47 HP) was installed in 1997. The hull is mahogany on steal and oak frames, and several steal-frames have been replaced. Ruff and cockpit-sides are renewed in mahogany. Interior in mahogany is new. Electric equipments are replaced. Both masts are overhauled last year. Some sails are from 1998, mainsail and spinnaker from sixties. Anitra is in technically good condition and recently professionally inspected.

Under present ownership Anitra has been intensively used for cruising in Scandinavian waters as well as some racing. With a new rig, in accordance with 8-meter rules, sailing performance will without doubt increase. Hopefully a new owner can fulfill this last part of the restoration and bring her back to regatta-shape like she was in 1936 when Anitra participated in the Olympic games in Germany.
